I lived in Taiwan as a kid, and I have an old photograph of this view that I once took on a disposable camera. I really loved how much my life changed when I experienced somewhere new, and my memory of this time is vibrant and full of color. I decided I wanted to paint this even though I no longer remember where exactly it was. The colors of greens and blues sooth me, and I still hang this photo up in my home because it brings me a sense of belonging and peace.
This is an original painting on stretched canvas, and is currently hanging in a gallery until April 8, 2023. The painting cannot be shipped until after that date.
