Hi! I'm Rebecca Mozdy, an aspiring artist who loves nature and wants to bring the magic of hiking and getting lost exploring into the world of art.
I'm originally from a small town in Upstate New York. I grew up on a hill surrounded by forest.
As a child my favorite memories are all outside - wading through streams, climbing trees, learning how to collect maple syrup, catching frogs and bugs, and stealing vegetables from the garden.
I use art to unwind, since I find nature to be calming and meditative. I hope you can find a similar sort of peace when you view my artwork.
I typically use gauche and acrylic paint, but I also enjoy exploring with digital art. During the summer months you'll often find me creating chalk art inspired by classic Impressionist paintings in the local Minneapolis parks.
If you'd like to commission a chalk painting, you're welcome to contact me. We can discuss the details over email or phone.
Thank you for visiting my website!
